Create A Sim Items!

So here is the new male outfit from the set, above is one of the pre-chosen colours and below is just a screen showing how CASt works with the clothing item. For me, it feels to loose for me to enjoy watching my sims wear! But it fits the context of the set and would appeal to story tellers and it would defintely give people a choice for creating farming related sims!
Here is the female CAS outfit, modelled by the our beautiful sim! (DEM EARS)! This fits the farming style more for me and I do like the fact that it is an older dress piece too!
These are the child pieces, the first outfit out of the three is my favourite CAS item from the whole set! It is a very cute item which, when coloured correctly can be used for normal simming games which is why I love it the most! The other two are quite cool too, but I couldn't see myself using them apart from building a family from hundreds of years ago or a family of farmers!
Build / Buy Objects
It has to be noted that I'm not the biggest lover of traditional houses or decor much, BUT if the items look classy, elegant and expensive I will love them! And I do love these items! All of the Build/Buy items look very premium which make them perfect for creating mansions and they feel very homely too, if you were not to keen on the intensity of the CAS items...then buy the set for the Build/Buy Items! They're freaking awesome and grand!
Milkin' It Dairy Corral!
Customisation Options! |
The big thing, the deciding thing! The new premium content item which brings cows to The Sims 3! It is AMAZING! I absolutely love this new item, it just has so many advantages to it! Not only do you have another animal to play around with...but you have new ways to build skills and fulfill needs! Milking cows boosts your sims hunger and energy! Being around the cows will give your sims the More Cowbell positive moodlet!
Also you can feed your cows, different foods such as vegetables which produces Soya milk, (which keeps your sim young) and you can feed chocolate to cows which increases your fun need and produces magical chocolate milk!
Looks like our model sim had the idea to feed cows vegetables! |
There is also the option to tip cows! This produces a milkshake (or chocolate milkshake if you fed your cow chocolate), if your sim tips the cow over successfully! If they do tip the cow over they get the Shaken, Not Churned positive moodlet, but the most fun thing is the fact that you can create milkshakes too which can be drank too and will give your sim another positive moodlet!
Cow Tipping Success! |
Milkshakes...YUM! |
However if your sim doesn't tip the cow successfully...they'll fall over and get the Cow Tipping Fail moodlet, but it's quite funny to see your sims fall down flat onto their back!
Cow: Ain't Nobody Tipping Me Over! |
Finally, your sims have the chance to play Tic-Tac-Toe with your cow, which is a fun way for your sims to learn the logic skill, WAY more fun than watching them play chess! If they win they'll get the Smarter Than Your Average Cow moodlet..but if they don't, they'll get the negative Udderly Ridiculous negative moodlet. But that moodlet is worth it for the aMOOsing pun (sorry it had to be done!).
Conclusion
The CAS items, are worth it if you are a story teller or really want to play with your sims as a farming family. Apart from that you wouldn't be getting to much use of them, however the CAS options would never be the reason you'd buy the set so you should treat them as an add-on/extra more than anything! The Build/Buy objects are beautiful because they are very extravagant and can be used over and over again! Finally comes the Dairy Corral, it has so many uses! It provides you with so many new ways to boost your needs, increase your skills and it brings new food options to the game! It really is worth the simpoints you'll spend! I find it a really enjoyable addition to the game, plus it gives you the chance for your sims to finally shake their butt and sing My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, damn right, it's better than yours!
Oh and cheeeeeese!
(You can sell the cheese for 10 simoleans, which adds a discrete OFB gameplay feature..you can produce your item then sell it on!)
