10 Way to try and deal with your PEPS - Into The Future Edition

1. Create you futuristic Sims ready for your new game, then you will just need to change clothes etc and get into the game quicker when released. 

2. Build  a home for the future so you can make the amendments when the objects are installed. 

3 .Focus on completing some badges for old EP's from your Sims 3 page. You'll be surprised to find you haven't done everything.

4. Try a hard or less used lifetime wish for you Sim or even one you haven't tried before.

5. Try a challenge. Some great ones include the legacy challenge and 100 baby. Just Google Sims 3 Challenges and browse for your favourite.

6. Create you own challenge for the current game features or even for the new EP. If you do make sure you share it with use all. :D 

7. Take a break from the Sims 3 and play or focus on something else. Should build up your excitement when you do get back into the game.

8. Watch the trailer over and over and over again until it bores you and can't face the game anymore, Or maybe not.

9. If you are an YouTuber plan your schedule for your LP's, Reviews, House Builds and any other series types that you do.

10. If you are not in a 22nd October release region or getting the game on release, check out other simmers LP's.

Just remember that "Into The Future" is not that far into the future.

Honestly it is meeting all the other amazing simmers from around the world. It's such a rare opportunity to have all of us in one place that it is just so unreal. We all got along immediately because we have The Sims in common and became friends in a matter of seconds!

1. So your channel Nicole K. Games has reached 20 000 subscribers! How have you responded to the amazing success you've had?

It is honestly still a shock for me, even gaining one subscriber. I never thought I’d end up with 20,000 subscribers, because I started YouTube for fun & for their entertainment. Never did I think my channel would grow this much! I’m thankful for all of it ♥

2. Did you ever think your channel would get this far?

I did not think my channel would get this far. I don’t really check my stats, so it amazes me whenever someone congratulates me, because it is just so unexpected.

3. Are you excited for The Sims 4? Which feature (that you've seen) are you most excited for?

I’m sort of neutral when it comes to The Sims 4, but the recent broadcasts have definitely boosted my excitement a bit! I am really looking forward to create-a-style, it looks very interesting.

1.How did you get into The Sims Franchise?

 I don't remember exactly how I got into the franchise, but I remember always carrying the box for "The Sims: Vacation" around with me haha. When I was a little older, my cousins showed me "The Sims 2" so I went out and bought it! I've been hooked since.

2.What is your favourite aspect of The Sims 3?

 The main reason why I moved on to The Sims 3 a year and a half ago is because of the idea of a Open Neighborhood. I loved the idea of sims living lives of their own, especially aging on their own. That was one thing that really bugged me about The Sims 2 that you had to play the household for them to age.

The Sims 3 and Mods

Around the time of the generations release I was getting desperate for large families in my game, so after many simming years of just having 8 sims in a family I started looking into mods. Now mods aren't for everyone and some people even consider it as cheating but I love the ways I can enhance my game play by adding in mods that increase the games functionality and even fix some issues. Before I go further I would like to say thank you to the mod creators that put so much work into the mods they create and keep them up to date when patches, EPs and SPs come out.

Why use mods:  There are 2 reasons I use mods.

1) They can fix some annoying lag issues by resetting stuck neighbours and clearing up stuff in worlds.

2) They can add to the game play allowing you to control the world more and allow you sims to do more i.e. take out loans, get more choice in part-time job.

WARNING:  Please read any instructions regarding a mod before installing. When patching or installing new games, temporarily remove all mods (and update them before putting back).

Installing mods: you will need to set up you game to allow mods/custom content, It is simple and only needs to be done once.  Steps on how to do this can be found here.

MOD golden rules:

•           Update or Install, remove mods prior to an update or install.
•          Update or Install Sim games = update or check mod compatibility before adding back in.
•          Don’t mix up core mods, stick to one.
•           Always read the creators documentation to check compatibility of a mod with your game.
•           Keep your mods folder organised, it will just make things easier for you.
•          If you don’t use a mod remove it, too many mods or certain mods can slow down you game so keep on top of this.
